Sorry, Google. I guess it’s time to try B̶i̶n̶g̶ [CENSORED]

It looks like the puritans have won. Google is now censoring adult material in the US. If you do a search (especially easy to see the results in an image search), you will get Moderate SafeSearch as a default in the US. You have the option to turn it up to Strict, but no way to turn if off completely. This isn’t the case for Google Canada (google.ca) or UK (google.co.uk).

I don’t use Google to find adult content; that’s not the point. The point is that this is the most blatant censoring Google has done. If this is an attempt to “protect the children”, why are they blocking pictures of boobs? These kids we want to protect were living off of one not too long ago. But, no, this is America, where boobs are bad for children but I can still search for this:
