Cleveland Landmarks 001: Chinese Cultural Gardens and Natural History Museum

Sep 1, 2026 | Blender | 0 comments

This is a simple video showing off a few quick 3D scans I made with my phone and Kiri Engine while on a walk.

Animation and effects all done in Blender.

Scans

Chinese Cultural Gardens

One of the protective foo dogs and a relief panel from the base of the statue honoring Confucius.

The foo dog was built from 50 photos. The panel was made from a 17 second video.

Unfortunately, I am too short to get a good view of the top of foo dog's head so it's got a bald patch.

Natural History Museum

Large, outdoor sundial with brass panels featuring reliefs of intricate fossil artwork.

The sundial was built from 38 photos.
